Canada’s Top Athletes Named to Racquetball Canada’s National Teams

WINNIPEG (July 17, 2024) – Racquetball Canada is excited to announce the selection of athletes for its national teams for the upcoming season. These athletes have earned their spots on the elite and development teams through their performances at the recent National Championships and the two National Team Selection Events held earlier this year.

“Racquetball Canada is proud to support our Elite and Development Team athletes in their pursuit of high performance racquetball,” said Jennifer Saunders, Racquetball Canada’s High Performance Director. “The athletes are the strength of our program supported by our great coaches and staff. We look forward to championing them in their racquetball, school and life endeavours throughout the 2024-25 season.”

Racquetball Canada’s teams are looking solid going into the coming season, with minimal changes to both the women’s and men’s elite teams. New athletes to the development team will gain invaluable experience, with many team members also eligible to represent Canada at the World Junior Championships.

The teams will kick off their training season at a national team training camp being held July 19 to 21 in Saskatoon. The competitive season gets underway with the World Championships scheduled for August 24 to 31 in San Antonio, USA.
