Coach the Coaches!

Racquetball Canada is looking for coaches who would like to pursue a new leadership role as a NCCP Coach Developer in the following contexts:

  • Community Sport Learning Facilitator
  • Competition Introduction Learning Facilitator
  • Competition Introduction Coach Evaluator
  • Competition Development Learning Facilitator
  • Competition Development Coach Evaluator

Those selected must have taken or be committed to taking the following training:

  • NCCP Safe Sport Training
  • NCCP Make Ethical Decisions
  • Core training for Learning Facilitators or core training for Coach Evaluators
  • Racquetball Canada Content Training
  • Co-facilitate a workshop with a trained Coach
  • Sign the Coach Developer Code of Conduct

Core training provides a general knowledge while Content-specific training allows candidates to become familiar with workshop materials and delivery of content for either multi-sport or sport-specific workshops. Co-facilitating provides an opportunity for candidates to work with an experienced coach developer in delivering a course. And a successful evaluation of a candidate’s independent delivery will lead to certification.

If you’d like to share your passion and make an impact on the next generation of coaches, contact Kathy Brook, Racquetball Canada’s Executive Director. Applicants are asked to submit:

  • a resume
  • a cover letter
  • their NCCP coach education transcript
