TEAM CANADA WINS 3 BRONZE MEDALS AT JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

WINNIPEG, December 12, 2021 – Team Canada is coming home from the Junior World Championships in Guatemala with three bronze medals. This is the first world championship medal for each of the athletes who reached the podium.

Nathan Jauvin (Terrebonne, Québec) and Christian Pocsai (New Hamburg, Ontario) won bronze in the 18 & U Boy’s Doubles event. Jauvin and Pocsai worked well together on the court throughout the tournament and upset one of the higher seeded teams to advance in the medal round. This is Jauvin’s fourth World Championships and Pocsai’s third.
